Introduction

Programming became compulsory in Japanese elementary schools in 2020 and junior high schools in 2021, increasing demand for beginner materials. Available as an option since Shade3D Ver.20, this tool uses a visual, block-based interface. Assemble elements with the mouse like a jigsaw puzzle to practice programming and develop creative and logical thinking.

Examples include drawing regular polygons to study geometry in mathematics, or creating shapes with blocks and outputting them on a 3D printer in art classes. In science, place lights and models and render sunlight propagation, focusing and reflection.

Feature overview

Build programs by joining command and output blocks with the mouse. Unlike code-based programming, you can work intuitively without memorizing functions or syntax. Open the tool from Scripts in the main menu.
